Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
(HT)
is
one

the
most
common
autoimmune
diseases.
Although
HT

linked
to
oxidative
stress,
there
have
been
no
studies
assessing
salivary
redox
homeostasis
or
gland
function
in
patients
with
HT.
This
study
first
compare
antioxidant
defense
and
stress
biomarkers
non-stimulated
(NWS)
stimulated
(SWS)
whole
saliva
plasma/erythrocytes
compared
controls.
The
included
45
women
euthyreosis

as

gender-matched
control

We

that
NWS

Nonalcoholic
fatty
liver
disease
(NAFLD)
is

the

commonly
occurring
diseases
within
western
dietary
patterns.
Usually
untreated,
it

lead
to

diabetes
mellitus
(T2DM),

(NASH),
and
hepatocellular
carcinoma
(HCC).
Besides
its
severe
aftermath,
up
now,
there
no
known
therapeutic
approach
this
in
everyday
clinical
practice.
Most
NAFLD
patients
are
encouraged

diet

pharmacological
treatment.

we
