ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to evaluate the roughness, hardness, and color change pit fissure sealants two commercial brands (Fluroshield ™ Ultraseal XT ™) incorporated with nanostructured silver vanadate nanomaterial decorated nanoparticles (β-AgVO3) in concentrations (0% - control, 2.5% 5%).Material methodsTwo Fluroshield TM were used make samples dimensions 6 × 4 mm. The control group made according manufacturer's instructions groups addition β-AgVO3, added proportionally by mass at percentages 5%. Roughness properties evaluated using a 3D Laser Confocal Microscope (n = 10), Knoop microhardness Microdurometer Portable Color Spectrophotometer on CIEDE2000 system 10). Data one-way ANOVA Bonferroni adjustment Tukey's mean comparison test 5% significance level.ResultsUltraseal sealant roughness showed significant difference between highest for (P 0.010). Regarding both no groups. ΔE00 control-2.5% 24.93 (3.49) control-5% 28.41 (2.58).ConclusionIt may be concluded that incorporation β-AgVO3 influenced increase sealant, did not interfere sealants, promoted within clinically acceptable limits.

The roughness of woven fabric surface has so far been mainly investigated as a key characteristic comfort in contact with the skin. analysis can be extended to various contexts and applications, becoming an important tool for understanding how textile materials react interaction different finishing agents, well gaining insight into durability effectiveness treatments. This research presents comprehensive study on impact alkaline hydrolysis chitosan coating polyester fabric, utilizing both novel adapted methods. employed optical methods analyze fiber characteristics, highlighting significance profile parameters material changes post-treatment. investigation revealed that mechanical action, medium, washing temperature, detergent residues contribute erosion modification during washing, coatings creating pronounced irregularities. Comparative showed significant post-washing, while were treatment specific. Despite initial increases due treatments, their decreased after washing. These findings emphasize importance optimizing processes cycles, impacting efficacy.

This paper presents the influence of preparation inspected surface on deviations obtained when measuring basic roughness parameters using contact method. The problems described in article are often encountered industry measurements performed mass production conditions, where a short measurement time is extremely important. Presented results five samples made 1.0503 steel after grinding process, subjected to various methods for measurement: sample immediately treatment, treatment and evaporation liquid part coolant, blowing with compressed air, air washing isopropyl alcohol, acetone. from profilometer provide basis developing recommendations regarding surfaces inter-operational final process.
