In this study, the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis were cultivated in wastewater inoculated into low-density polypropylene plastic air pillows (LDPE-PAPs) under a light stress. The cells irradiated to different stresses using white LED lights (WLs) as control, and broad-spectrum (BLs) test for period of 32 days. It was observed that inoculum (70 × 102 mL-1 cells) H. algal increased almost 30 40 times WL BL, respectively, at day coherent its biomass productivity. Higher lipid concentration up 36.85 μg BL compared 13.215 L-1 dry weight WL. chlorophyll 'a' content 2.6 greater (3.46 mL-1) (1.32 with total carotenoids being about 1.5 on 32. yield red pigment 'Astaxanthin' 27% than presence, including astaxanthin also confirmed by HPLC, whereas fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) GC-MS. This study further alongwith stress is suitable biochemical growth good well carotenoid accumulation. Additionally there 46% reduction chemical oxygen demand (COD) far more efficient manner when cultured recycled LDPE-PAP. Such type cultivation made overall process economical upscaling produce value-added products such lipids, pigments, biomass, biofuel commercial applications.
