The Covid-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) was caused by SARS-CoV-2, a highly pathogenic, novel zoonotic βcoronavirus. infection reported less than decade after the outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) in 2012, which precisely SARS-CoV-1 infection, discovered 2002; three viruses being β-CoVs, leading to severe and potentially fatal respiratory tract infections. COVID-19 started locally Wuhan but has spread globally 231 countries within six habitable continents world as September 22, 2023, affecting health, socio-lifestyle, economy, changes accommodate sustainability. A total 695, 684,448 cases have been recorded with 6,919,216 deaths 667,700,972 recoveries 2023. Abstract Background Situs inversus is a rare congenital condition, defined by the mirror‐image transposition of abdominothoracic organs. It linked to an increased risk different disorders, for example, heart defects and primary ciliary dyskinesia. Recently, some reports have been on incidence situs after COVID‐19 pandemic. Objectives To investigate association between maternal infection fetal occurrence risk. Methods All pregnant women who underwent ultrasound examinations at Jinan Maternal Child Health Hospital from January May 2022 2023 were recruited. A chi‐square test was conducted assess with rate inversus. Results total 8381 patients, including 25 fetuses 3956 patients had COVID‐19, while 4400 did not. Among mothers fetuses, 22 3 without recent infection. Our analysis showed strong link higher fetus ( P < .001, odds ratio 8.196). Conclusion in early stages pregnancy associated inversion occurrence. Therefore, further research this field seems necessary.

A fractional order compartmental model on the transmission dynamics of co-infection COVID-19 and Monkeypox is presented. The approximate solutions are obtained using Laplace-Adomian Decomposition method in form an infinite series which was shown to converge exact value. Using MATLAB fmincon algorithm, we carried out a data fitting analysis real life so as obtain estimates for some key parameters used formulation model. results our showed that increase effective treatment capacity human population will significantly reduce burden these diseases population.

This umbrella review synthesizes and discusses systematic reviews (SRs) meta-analyses (MAs) on auditory outcomes associated with COVID-19 infection vaccination side effects. It is innovative in offering a comprehensive synthesis of evidence across adults infants while summarizing vaccine-related literature search followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses 2020 guidelines, no restrictions population age or symptom severity. Four electronic databases were searched from their inception to October 2024. The Assessment Multiple 2 checklist Risk Bias tool used assess quality risk bias. identified 534 articles, narrowed down 14 SRs following full-text review: Nine focused COVID-19; two, born mothers infected during pregnancy; three, effects vaccination. A random-effects model revealed significantly high pooled estimates hearing loss (5.0%, 95% CI [1.0, 9.0], p < .012, three MAs, N = 21,932) tinnitus (13.5%, [5.9, 21.1], ≤ .001, four 36,236) adults. However, current nonhospitalized patients indicates that symptoms often improve after recovery. Studies also show low rate whose contracted pregnancy. Similarly, whereas has been linked tinnitus, these are rare, most experience improvement within weeks months. Evidence suggests adults, although remain rare newborns caution warranted due limitations variability studies.

SARS-CoV-2, a novel coronavirus, causes respiratory tract infections and other complications in affected individuals, has resulted numerous deaths worldwide. The unprecedented pace of its transmission worldwide, the resultant heavy burden on healthcare systems everywhere, prompted efforts to have effective therapeutic strategies vaccination candidates available global population. While aged immunocompromised individuals form high-risk group for COVID-19 severe disease outcome, rate among children also increased with emergence Omicron variant. In addition, recent reports threatening SARS-CoV-2-associated brought forefront an urgent necessity vaccination. this article, we discuss current scenario SARS-CoV-2 special focus differences their immune system response as compared adults. Further, describe various vaccines, including bivalent vaccines children, detail, intending increase willingness acceptance.

COVID-19 was an infection that capable of bringing the entire world to a standstill position within period days months. Despite advancements in medical sector, contagion difficult control and costed lives millions people worldwide. Many short- long-term effects are witnessed even date contracted disease. Pregnant females had suffer not only devastating virus, but also psycho-social impact lockdown. The during pregnancy causing decreased antenatal care or hypoxemic episodes due severe respiratory distress whether it could lead appearance congenital gastrointestinal malformation neonates is still unclear. aim our study analyze if increase incidence gastric malformations born from these women. We sifted files all admitted into hospital between January 2022 December 2022, based on inclusion exclusion criteria, we included cases having pandemic. We performed single-center, retrospective, observational descriptive study. further divided patients anatomical location malformation. took down details evolution mother SARS-CoV-2 pregnancy. Details regarding Apgar score, intensive admission, sex, nutrition were key findings studied.A total 47 found have digestive anomalies, among which, locations, number at level esophagus 15, while 16 occurred pylorus; 12 duodenum, four rectum. Out neonates, 38.3% 61.7% males. A 58% preemies, which 9% intra-uterine growth retardation (IUGR), 42% full-term newborns, 4% (IUGR). 45% births primiparous pregnancies 55% multiparous females. 14 mothers tested positive for course (p-value = 0.23); many mild symptoms tested.COVID-19 can affect wellbeing pregnant female their fetus. This study explores a mathematical model in continuous time, elucidating the transmission dynamics of co-infection COVID-19 and Monkeypox. We implemented an optimal control strategy that includes adherence to wearing nose/face masks, practicing social distancing, employing rodenticides, getting vaccinated against these lethal illnesses. The goal is reduce their spread among people, consequently lessening impact on human population. Utilizing discrete-time Pontryagin maximum principle, we determined strategies through iterative approach solve system. By utilizing MATLAB optimization toolbox with Runge–Kutta forward–backward sweep technique, performed numerical simulations demonstrate how parameters different sections population, including both infected uninfected compartments. conducted comprehensive cost–benefit analysis identify measures would produce best outcome minimizing expenses incidence cases involving Monkeypox diseases. Our analyses indicated intensifying utilization nose/facemasks, personal protective equipments (PPEs) treatment facilities, immunization, implementing distancing can notably diminish prevalence COVID-19, Monkeypox, concurrent infections populace.

The COVID-19 pandemic introduced lot social changes required constant adaptation unfavorable conditions. aim study was assess impact stress related this on pregnant women, mothers premature infants their families, obstetric complications, particularly preterm birth. A comprehensive literature review performed using electronic databases such as Pubmed, Science Direct Google Scholar. Keywords as: “prematurity”; “pregnancy”; “stress”; “COVID-19” combinations above were used. Maternal anxiety increase levels corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) placenta, turn incidence birth many other maternal neonatal complications. In addition, it found SARS-CoV-2 infection may risk phenomenon. has adversely affected rates mental infants, exacerbating negative experience having baby.
