Introduction: Human Mpox (formerly monkeypox) infection is an emerging zoonotic disease caused by the virus (MPXV). We describe complete genome annotation, phylogeny, and mutational profile of a novel, sustained Clade I outbreak in city Kamituga Eastern Democratic Republic Congo (DRC). Methodology: A cross-sectional, observational, cohort study was performed among patients all ages admitted to Hospital with symptoms between late September 2023 January 2024. DNA isolated from swabbed lesions sequenced followed phylogenetic analysis, profiling. Results: ongoing Kamituga, South Kivu Province, Congo. Whole-genome sequencing viral RNA samples revealed, on average, 201.5 snps, 28 insertions, 81 deletions, 2 indels, 312.5 total variants, 158.3 amino acid changes, 81.66 intergenic 72.16 synonymous mutations, 106 missense 41.16 frameshift 3.33 inframe deletions across six samples. By assigning mutations at proteome level for MPXV sequences, we observed that seven proteins, namely, C9L (OPG047), I4L (OPG080), L6R (OPG105), A17L (OPG143), A25R (OPG151), A28L (OPG153), B21R (OPG210) have emerged as hot spot based consensuses acids substitutions. Mpox (earlier known as monkeypox) virus infection is a recognized public health emergency. There has been little research on the treatment options. This article reviews specific drugs used to treat mpox and vaccines here. Instead of focusing mechanistic basis, this review narrates practical, real-life experiences individual patients disease being administered these medicines. We conducted bibliometric analysis using data from several databases like PubMed, Scopus, Embase. The topic grown tremendously recently but it highly concentrated in few countries. Human monkeypox disease (mpox) has resurfaced recently as a public health emergency of international concern in the wake coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, spreading endemic and nonendemic regions across globe. The purpose this concise review is to provide an overview background, cause, epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, prevention mpox. virus (MPXV) enveloped double-stranded deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) that belongs Orthopoxvirus genus Poxviridae family. In past, mpox been primarily zoonotic affected rural, forested areas some African countries. There no doubt changing many ways since 2022 global outbreak, particularly human-to-human transmission through sexual contact new clinical presentations. spite fact severity prevalence vary by age sex, common symptoms are present all patients. Many patients experience fever, muscle pain headache, swollen lymph nodes, skin rashes. A sign can be followed laboratory diagnostic tests such conventional PCR or real-time PCR. Although there specific treatment for mpox, it effectively managed with help antivirals, smallpox vaccine, vaccinia immune globulin.
