Anal fistula, characterized by abnormal tracts between the perianal skin and anal canal, presents challenges in treatment because of its diversity complexity. This study investigates use non-thermal plasma as a postsurgical therapy for aiming to promote healing tissue regeneration. A specialized reactor was designed apply within anorectal cavity practically. Non-thermal administered 20 patients including 10 undergoing fistulectomies fistulotomies. The average duration application operating room shorter pain reported day after surgery similar both groups. Improvements number evacuations starting from surgery, well assessment stool quality using Bristol scale, indicated satisfactory intestinal recovery. Fistulotomy exhibited faster wound times. These findings underscore efficacy postoperative enhancing recovery outcomes without increasing complication risks.
