Background/Objectives: This literature review aims to systematically analyze the efficacy of electrolytic cleaning for treating peri-implantitis, including its impact on disease resolution, re-osseointegration treated implants, and peri-implantitis recurrence. It also compares various study treatment protocols used in selected papers. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted MEDLINE (via PubMed) Cochrane Central Register Controlled Trials using keywords “electrolytic implant” or “GalvoSurge”. Studies published until 31 December 2024 were considered inclusion. Results: Out 141 articles retrieved, four publications review. These studies analyzed implant type, number, evaluation methods, observation periods, surgical procedures, additional treatments. Disease resolution reported one study, while recurred remaining studies. However, implants observed all Conclusions: Due limited heterogeneous nature studies, it is difficult draw definitive conclusions about effectiveness as a peri-implantitis. To ensure consistent trial outcomes improve predictability, clear clinical guidelines decontamination are essential.

Generalized severe periodontitis, with the potential for additional tooth loss, is one of most common forms periodontitis today. Early diagnosis and treatment approaches are utmost importance. Therapeutic measures must be well thought out follow a strict sequence. This case report presents patient stage 3 includes information on both non-surgical part therapy surgical intervention in single area an existing vertical bone defect. An innovative method regenerative (guided tissue regeneration barrier collagen membrane autogenous platelet-rich plasma) was selected defect medial zone #46.
