Microalgae are the primary producers in aquatic ecosystems, while simultaneously playing a vital role various industrial sectors. Despite their significant ecological and bioeconomic importance, impacts of oxidative stress on populations remain poorly understood. In this mini-review, we summarize recent advancements understanding modulation microalgae, with focus responses to climate change-related stressors. Additionally, compare valuable insights obtained from multi-omics studies specific biochemical pathways genes, correlating mechanisms by which microalgae respond among different species.
