Cluster headache (CH) is a common primary that severely impacts patients’ quality of life, characterized by recurrent, severe, unilateral headaches often centered around the eyes, temples, or forehead. Distinguishing CH from other disorders challenging, and its pathogenesis remains unclear. Notably, patients with experience high levels depression suicidal tendencies, necessitating increased clinical attention. This comprehensive assessment combines various reports latest scientific literature to evaluate current state research. It covers epidemiology, population characteristics, predisposing factors, treatment strategies. Additionally, we provide strategic insights into holistic management CH, which involves continuous, individualized care throughout prevention, treatment, rehabilitation stages. Recent advances in field have revealed new pathophysiology CH. While these findings are still evolving, they offer more detailed understanding neurobiological mechanisms underlying this disorder. growing body knowledge, alongside ongoing research efforts, promises lead development targeted effective treatments future.
