Rumination is an essential trans-diagnostic process associated with substance use disorders (SUDs) in psychopathology. In China, methamphetamine and heroin have become major illegal drugs, but the role of rumination their remains unclear. The objective this study was to investigate relationship between subtypes drug craving patients disorder (MAUD) 81 (HUD). A total 489 participants, including 408 MAUD HUD, were recruited from a rehabilitation center. Participants screened for inclusion criteria, Obsessive Compulsive Drug Use Scale (OCDUS) used assess craving. assessed using Ruminative Responses (RRS), categorized into three dimensions: symptom rumination, brooding, reflective pondering. Correlational multiple regression analyses conducted examine associations Compared MAUD, HUD had significantly higher RRS OCDUS score (42.51 vs 39.71 25.99 20.95, both p < 0.01). positively correlated (r = 0.298, 0.01) all subscale scores (for pondering, r 0.180; 0.230; 0.325; However, only 0.247, 0.05).
