Muscle
dysmorphia
(MD)
consists
of
a
type
body
dysmorphic
disorder
and

Abstract
The
aim
of
this
study
was
to
investigate
the
effects

people’s
popularity
perceptions
and
social
appearance
concerns

aesthetic

Introduction
Although
the
factors
influencing
appearance
anxiety
have
been

mechanisms

Background
Appearance
