Background Interpersonal communication is a cornerstone of patient-centered care. We aimed to identify what patients with cancer and caregivers may want from during public health crisis. Methods interviewed 15 (8 Veteran, 7 non-Veteran) regionally, racially, ethnically diverse backgrounds across the US about serious illness care quality COVID-19 pandemic Using an iterative, inductive deductive process, 2 coders analyzed content associated code “Communication,” which appeared 71 times, identified 5 themes. Results Participants as White (10), Latino/a (3), Asian (1), Black (1). (1) Help prepare for crisis by communicating medical information directly proactively. Background and Objectives: Cancer imposes a profound burden on both physical psychological health, particularly at advanced stages, which are associated with poor prognosis heightened emotional distress. Psychotherapeutic interventions have gained recognition for their role in alleviating distress, enhancing the quality of life, supporting holistic approach to cancer care. This review examines effectiveness psychotherapeutic improving well-being patients. Materials Methods: Conducted as literature following PRISMA guidelines, this study analyzed experimental research patients published past decade. Literature searches were performed PubMed, Google Scholar, Cochrane Library, Web Science, PsycINFO, Consensus, supplemented by manual reference checks. The inclusion criteria focused randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Results: analysis included 20 RCTs spanning over three decades, evaluating such individual meaning-centered psychotherapy (IMCP), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), supportive-expressive group therapy (SEGT). IMCP emerged being effective reducing depression, anxiety, demoralization while spiritual well-being. MBCT demonstrated significant reductions fear recurrence, SEGT effectively addressed traumatic stress fostered social support. Although survival benefits inconsistently reported, psychosocial improvements, including an enhanced life resilience, consistently observed. methodological varied, nine studies meeting high-quality standards. Background Post-traumatic growth (PTG) is defined as “positive psychological change experienced a result of the struggle with high-ly challenging life circumstances”. We aimed to study post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms in breast cancer (BC) patients during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.We included BC receiving medical treatment first COVID-19 lockdown France. PTSD were evaluated using Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R) questionnaire. Quality life [Functional Assessment Cancer Therapy-General (FACT-G)], cognitive complaints Therapy-Cognitive Function (FACT-Cog)], insomnia [Insomnia Severity Index (ISI)], and psychosocial experiences also evaluated. Multivariable logistic regression was used identify clinical factors (from records) questionnaires) associated with symptoms.Among 253 (mean age: 58), 46% had metastatic 52% treated by chemotherapy alone.
