Abstract The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the field vaccine development has revolutionized discovery and production processes, particularly during COVID-19 pandemic. AI technologies played an instrumental role in accelerating identification viable candidates, optimizing clinical trial designs, expediting regulatory approvals. This review critically examines impact AI-driven approaches on vaccines, highlighting case studies such as Pfizer-BioNTech Moderna vaccines. By employing machine learning algorithms sophisticated data analytics, significantly reduced traditional timelines from years to mere months, all while enhancing precision, safety, efficacy. Our analysis reveals that facilitated real-time monitoring data, improving patient stratification, dynamically addressing adverse events, leading faster approvals without compromising standards. Furthermore, AI-powered models optimized distribution strategies, overcoming logistical challenges associated with global deployment also explores ethical technical posed by AI, algorithmic biases, privacy concerns, need for transparent governance frameworks. lessons drawn pandemic underscore transformative potential future research preparedness.
