Introduction. Cancer patients often experience significant psychological stress, which can negatively impact their medication adherence. This study aimed to evaluate and minimize stress enhance adherence among cancer by implementing integrative oncology techniques. Material methods. The included 63 male female participants diagnosed with head neck, cervical, breast, prostate cancers, who were followed for six months. Various scales used assess the status of patients, including distress thermometer, Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS), Functional Assessment Therapy (FACT) questionnaire. Integrative techniques, yoga, meditation, patient counseling, rehabilitation, employed reduce improve outcomes. Results. results showed a reduction in anxiety depression levels after quality life (QoL) scores improved different types, such as following intervention. Moreover, decreased received effective counseling. Conclusions. In conclusion, these findings suggest that techniques effectively ultimately improving overall well-being treatment

Importance Distress is common among patients with cancer, and evidence of disparities associated distress has been mixed. Head neck cancer (HNC) one the most emotionally distressing cancers also a highly disparate disease. However, it unknown whether there are patient-reported in HNC. Objective To examine racial sociodemographic factors clinically meaningful cohort Design, Setting, Participants This retrospective study analyzed data from single tertiary institution at National Cancer Institute–designated comprehensive center Southeastern US. included adult January 2017 to December 2022 confirmed diagnoses head squamous cell carcinoma who received radiation therapy up 5 weeks initial diagnosis. Main Outcomes Measures The outcome interest was (score least 4 on thermometer). thermometer single-item, self-reported tool used measure person's level psychological over past week, represented scale 0 (no distress) 10 (extreme distress). Patients were if they had visits clinicians oncology department within Sociodemographic race ethnicity, age, sex, marital status, health insurance status.
