Background: Inflammation markers in the blood may indicate a higher risk of unstable atherosclerosis. Selectins, group transmembrane glycoproteins, contribute to inflammation by helping certain cells bind endothelium. Methods: The study included 100 patients with stable early-onset coronary artery disease (CAD), 75 men (aged 50–54) and 25 women 55–64). Tests performed biochemical analysis, ultrasound, Doppler imaging arteries peripheral vessels. A control 50 cases without CAD (74% men, average age 48 ± 3.20 years) was also studied. Results: Higher triglyceride levels were strongly linked elevated plasma E-selectin levels. However, no significant relationship found between biochemical, clinical, radiographic, or echographic measures. Conclusion: Plasma are not reliable marker for detecting atherosclerotic plaques related problems individuals stable, well-managed CAD. While can be measured clinical labs using immunoassays, they cannot replace standard cardiological vascular tests diagnosing cardiac conditions.

Background: The pathogenesis of atherosclerosis is multifactorial and diverse. Pro-inflammatory cytokines are involved in these processes. It suggested that inflammation may represent a novel modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Therefore, this study aimed to gain insight into the relationship between plasma concentrations TNF, VEGF, IL-6, radiological parameters progression patients with early-onset coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods: Seventy clinically stable were included group. age range men was no more than 50 years, while women, it 55 years. Fasting blood samples obtained IL-6 protein measurements. Plasma cytokine measured via ELISA. Doppler ultrasound carotid peripheral arteries performed all patients. Results: After Bonferroni correction, there significant correlations any our Conclusions: determination VEGF levels not be reliable marker vascular condition, measurement cannot replace classical examination vessels.
