Background:
The
pathogenesis
of
atherosclerosis
is
multifactorial
and
diverse.
Pro-inflammatory
cytokines
are
involved
in
these
processes.
It
suggested
that
inflammation
may
represent
a
novel
modifiable
risk
factor
for
cardiovascular
disease.
Therefore,
this
study
aimed
to
gain
insight
into
the
relationship
between
plasma
concentrations
TNF,
VEGF,
IL-6,
radiological
parameters
progression
patients
with
early-onset
coronary
artery
disease
(CAD).
Methods:
Seventy
clinically
stable
were
included
group.

Background:
Inflammation
markers
in
the
blood
may
indicate
a
higher
risk
of
unstable
atherosclerosis.
Selectins,
group
transmembrane
glycoproteins,
contribute
to
inflammation
by
helping
certain
cells
bind
endothelium.
Methods:
The
study
included
100
patients
with
stable
early-onset
coronary
artery
disease
(CAD),
75
men
(aged
50–54)
and
25
women
55–64).
Tests
performed
biochemical
analysis,
ultrasound,
Doppler
imaging
arteries
peripheral
vessels.
A
control
50
cases
without
CAD
(74%
men,
average
age
48
±
3.20
years)
was
also
studied.
Results:
Higher
triglyceride
levels
were
strongly
linked
elevated
plasma
E-selectin
levels.
However,
no
significant
relationship
found
between
biochemical,
clinical,
radiographic,
or
echographic
measures.
Conclusion:
Plasma
are
not
reliable
marker
for
detecting
atherosclerotic
plaques
related
problems

While

labs

immunoassays,

replace
standard
