Abstract The dissolution of the campus during early stages current pandemic provides a compelling case study how Higher Education responds to emergencies. Initially, digital education was perceived as lifeline and educators spoke ‘pivot online’. What followed an undignified stumble into remote teaching. Social theories innovation suggest that rapid technological change is simply matter choice organisations can make strategic changes when required. Many fields have been affected by COVID-19, including education. The pandemic has prompted a change in education due to the requirement for social distancing. Campuses are now closed many educational institutions across globe, and teaching learning conducted online. Internationalization significantly slowed down. A mixed-method study was designed this research, with goal of ascertaining impact COVID-19 on Bangladeshi students enrolled higher during after pandemic. questionnaire 19 questions Google form used collect quantitative data using 4-point Likert scale 100 from different universities southern part Bangladesh, such as Barisal University, Patuakhali Science Technology Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University. For collecting qualitative data, six quasi-interviews were conducted. statistical package Social (SPSS) analyze both data. results demonstrated that pandemic, pupils continuously received learning. current study’s findings revealed significant positive correlation between teaching, learning, student achievement negative goals. also had detrimental effect programs at universities. judgment showed faced problems when joining classes, poor Internet connection insufficient network technological facilities, etc. Some live rural areas slow speeds, which sometimes prevented them class. can help policy makers review adopt new Bangladesh.

Background The final third of the year 2019 was marked by outbreak deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This virus paralyzed almost all economic sectors, including governments, forcing educational institutions to close. School closures resulted in significant learning losses and increased inequality education sector across world. Despite these disruptions, however, available evidence reveals that some countries quickly developed adaptive mechanisms emergency remote systems other alternative methods recover from losses, such as televisions, telephones, Zoom, social media, Google Classrooms, email, even post office. These recovery programs are instrumental preparing world economies for future shocks. Various studies being conducted assess impact this pandemic different sectors perspectives. However, systematic literature reviews documenting behaviors before after COVID-19 either sparse or nonexistent. Additionally, provide a synthesis evidence, indicate directions further research, inform decision-making. review focuses on adaptation strategies subsequent positive outcomes emerging Purpose purpose study published articles behavior institutions, and, particular, coping strategies/mechanisms over time. Methodology used approach core methodology defining answerable research questions, searching best appraising quality collecting aggregating data answering identified questions. material collected using Science Direct Emerald databases, which highly regarded comprehensive authoritative. In this study, we aimed to determine Cypriot primary mathematics teachers’ perspectives and lived experiences during the transition emergency remote teaching (ERT) in early stage of COVID-19 pandemic. An in-depth online survey combining closed-ended open-ended questions was administered sixty-two (n = 62) educators public schools first lockdown spring, 2020. The data from were analyzed using descriptive inferential statistics, whereas, for questions, a thematic analysis approach employed. Our findings provide useful insights regarding self-reported technology backgrounds levels instruction use prior pandemic, as well their level preparedness ERT main challenges they faced implementing mathematics. also indicate satisfaction with practices beliefs concerning extent achievement curriculum learning objectives through ERT, how these varied based on familiarity technology, at distance, engagement (or non-engagement) synchronous ERT. Teachers’ suggestions, period, transform post-COVID-19 era are presented.
