Personalized learning (PL) has emerged as a promising approach to address diverse educational needs, with artificial intelligence (AI) playing an increasingly pivotal role in its implementation. This systematic literature review examines the landscape of PL across various contexts, focusing on use AI and associated challenges. Using PRISMA guidelines, 68 empirical studies published between 2018 2024 were analyzed, revealing correlations academic levels, modalities, technologies, implementation barriers. Due to swift technological changes in society, programming tasks are proliferating formal and informal education around the globe. However, challenges arise regarding acquisition of skills. Many students unequipped develop skills due limited instruction or background therefore feel insecure when encountering higher education. Some after-school initiatives focus on teaching younger skills, however, not all have opportunity attend. It can also be very challenging for teachers teach programming—even more so significant differences students’ knowledge interests. To alleviate these challenges, we designed developed a digital personalized learning (DPL) track first grade secondary (12–14 year-old students) with threefold purpose: (a) encourage bridging gap between visual general-purpose textual languages (b) meet by them, albeit their own pace, subsequently (c) support delivery relevant supportive materials. The design was tested teachers, both varying technical abilities. Assessments DPL-track were positive, identifying as tools motivating. Teachers praised adaptivity, well gradual transition from programming. We present several suggestions improvement dilemmas while reflecting our case.

Introducción: la integración de tecnología en educación ha experimentado un crecimiento exponencial los últimos años, transformando forma que se enseña y aprende. Entre estas tecnologías, las simulaciones virtuales han emergido como una herramienta poderosa para mejorar comprensión el dominio conceptos complejos, especialmente áreas física. Metodología: investigación tiene enfoque cuantitativo tipo transversal explicativo con diseño experimental, aplica muestreo no probabilístico intencional siendo estudiantes primer semestre carrera Pedagogía Ciencias Experimentales: Matemáticas Física Universidad Nacional Chimborazo. Resultados: comparó grupos usaron desarrollar conceptos, realización práctica resolución problemas grupo usó virtuales, generando mayor ganancia experimental control.
