Background and Aims: Science is frequently regarded as crucial due to its links technology industry, which, from a national viewpoint, may be one of the areas high priority for research, innovation development. As digital emerges key strategy in education, this study aims explore effectiveness PhET Simulations on Grade 8 students' cognitive skills learning essential topics force motion. Methodology: The used mixed-methods approach, combining quasi-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest quantitative data sequential exploratory qualitative insights. focused how science teaching influenced skills. Qualitative gathered through feedback perceptions were analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: Findings revealed significant improvement student's skills, shift prestructural level (mean score 1.51) multistructural 3.64) first trial 1.20) 3.92) second trial. Statistical analysis confirmed these improvements p-value below 0.05. These results highlight showing that right tools approaches, students can significantly advance their understanding develop Conclusion: It was concluded Simulation an effective tool developing thus highlighting notable progress complex concepts, increased curiosity exploration, boosted game-based features. While challenges such limited access technology, outdated versions gadget's OS, difficulty navigating simulations, need foundational knowledge identified, addressing issues could unlock full potential simulation, making it highly fosters deeper learning.

In recent years, the integration of technology into education has significantly transformed teaching methods, especially in science education. Tools like PhET simulations have proven highly effective enhancing student engagement and comprehension. Research highlighted value simulation-based learning fostering critical thinking problem-solving skills. This study aimed to explore impact simulations, with a focus on PhET, improving elementary students’ outcomes, an area that remains under-researched. The compared performance two groups third-grade students: one group learned about solubility using while other relied traditional textbook instruction. Each comprised fifty students. lasted for two-month period. instructional approach was investigative learning. Data were gathered through responses materials questions aligned Bloom’s Taxonomy, allowing detailed evaluation their understanding application scientific concepts. Responses assessed accuracy scored accordingly. We ran independent-sample t-test decide whether difference mean score achievement between research significant. results showed students not only achieved higher scores but also demonstrated ability explain reasoning during tasks. These findings emphasize substantial advantages incorporating digital tools education, as they enhance conceptual better equip tackle future challenges. present complement previous chemistry classroom add issue this research. are centered topic solubility. To broaden generalizability these findings, should examine effects wider range topics.

Modern science learning paradigms emphasize inquiry-based and experiential learning, replacing traditional approaches. Constructivist approaches become the theoretical foundation, recognizing importance of students' active involvement in process. Metaphors acquisition participation are proposed as basis for understanding learning. The research method uses narrative techniques to synthesize information from multiple sources, providing a comprehensive overview problems solutions contemporary paradigm. author highlights number issues that need be addressed. Key challenges include lack hands-on experimentation, an overemphasis on rote inclusivity, suboptimal integration technology. While technology has potential enrich student experience, there still shortcomings its implementation. By highlighting these issues, authors promote experiences, concept-based assessments, inclusive curricula, effective improving education.
