Nursing students require resilience to navigate the complexities of clinical practice. This characteristic is essential for managing demanding workloads, unpredictable patient situations, and emotional stressors while maintaining performance well-being. Fostering helps develop capacity adapt adversity, overcome setbacks, remain committed providing high-quality care. qualitative study explores challenges supports influencing nursing students' during education. Interviews with 28 Thai revealed two key themes: "experience vulnerability" meaningfulness". The sub-themes vulnerability included "navigating uncertainty", "transcending professional struggles", "being exposed diverse encounters". meaningfulness focused on restoring strength through social interactions engaging in positive transformation. highlights need comprehensive support systems that address personal vulnerabilities. Integrating caring theory principles could further enhance by emphasizing compassionate care fostering student empathy. suggests instructors stakeholders can significantly impact well-being creating supportive environments built collaboration, empathy, mentorship, all which are aligned theory.

Mental health challenges are increasingly prevalent among young individuals, particularly within high-stress academic environments such as nursing education. Resilience is critical for maintaining well-being and adapting to university demands. Objective: To assess resilience levels in first-year students at FAMERP (Faculty of Medicine São José do Rio Preto) upon entry 2021 their longitudinal evolution 2022 2023, using the Wagnild Young Scale. The study also aims explore implications mental promotion healthcare professionals. Methods: A descriptive, longitudinal, prospective, quantitative was conducted with 40 students. Data collection performed via electronic forms analyzed descriptive statistics specific tests R programming language. Results: predominantly female sample, a mean age 19.5 years, exhibited moderate high levels: scores 132.5 (2021), 135.8 (2022), 139.2 (2023). significant reduction Perseverance factor (p = 0.0131) noted. There positive correlation between (r 0.42; p < 0.01). Discussion: Despite slight overall increase resilience, decline concerning, indicating potential growing progress. Small differences significantly influence outcomes. This may be related increased stress, exposure emotionally challenging clinical situations, cumulative effects “costs caring”. Background: Resilience is a cornerstone attribute for nursing students, enabling them to adapt stressful situations encountered during their educational journey and subsequent healthcare career. Objective: This qualitative study aimed explore instructors’ experiences promoting resilience among students clinical education. Methods: Focus groups were conducted with 27 instructors from four colleges in Thailand. Data analyzed using Braun Clarke’s inductive thematic analysis approach, guided by the Unitary Caring Science Resilience-Building Model. Results: Two main themes emerged: (1) Challenges Nursing Students’ (2) Support Strategies Enhancing Resilience. included bridging theory practice, upholding confidence skills, adapting new environments, managing expectations. strategies encompassed providing comprehensive preparation, fostering open communication, implementing peer support systems, utilizing reflective practice. Conclusions: The findings highlight complex interplay of factors affecting students’ multifaceted approaches use it. underscores need holistic approach education that addresses competence psychological well-being. Implications include curriculum redesign bridge theory–practice gap, enhanced instructor training mentorship resilience-building, implementation student technology integration learning resilience.

This cross-sectional survey assessed the resilient coping levels and their relationship with socio-demographic characteristics of nursing professionals in Saudi Arabia. Adult (≥18 years) registered nurses practicing for ≥1 year were included. Resilient (as via a 4-item Brief Resilience Coping Scale; BRCS) other data collected.
