Leveraging Generative AI in Higher Education: An Analysis of Opportunities and Challenges Addressed in University Guidelines DOI Open Access

ABSTRACT As generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is seen as a catalyst for new learning and examination culture in higher education, it urges universities to reinvent themselves adapt these changes effectively. By analysing the content of 67 university guidelines on AI, this study investigates how Germany position towards rise AI. Findings reveal that majority explicitly permit both lecturers students engage with emphasising importance building AI literacy among groups preparing changing demands world work. Importantly, 56.7% posit opportunities education outweigh risks, underscoring potential transformative impact teaching research. In addition, results workshop 25 faculty members were scrutinised deepen specify findings analysis.

In successful peer discussions students respond to each other and benefit from supports that focus discussion on one another’s ideas. We explore using artificial intelligence (AI) form groups guide for grade 7 students. use natural language processing (NLP) identify student ideas in science explanations. The universities website has become an established tool, serving as interface between organization and its audience. For university websites, they act portals for information communication with students, facilitating educational research objectives while promoting the institution’s image. Based on this perspective, authors conducted a strategic monitoring/documentation process, employing both quantitative qualitative methodologies to analyze vast textual content from websites of 101 in Romania. Data collection occurred January 2021 March 2022. These were monitored analyzed comparatively quality based Minerva EU principles, which serve analytical standard, utilizing predefined categories: identification, relevance, maintenance, accessibility, user orientation, responsiveness, multilingualism, interoperability. Additionally, study assesses whether provide useful students’ specific activities, including accessible informational documentary resources within library’s digital environment. results indicate that state (54 total, civilian military) are most relevant. They continually enhance their vital access point resources, administrative, educational, documentary, cultural resources.
