Abstract This article explores the perspective of instructional designers on digital transformation corporate technical education and training. It draws “episodic narrative interviews” conducted with learning development department a for-profit company in manufacturing sector to investigate their perceptions transformation. We examine working structures studied company, elaborate perceived challenges needs, highlight our position future implications for The case study improves quality practice within professional by pointing out necessary considerations about communication, design process, job descriptions, products, target group’s attitude towards teaching learning. Our results support companies, departments, everyone related training developing concepts programs or contributing further best practices.

The paper presents the results of a survey conducted among total 155 industrial engineering students from Romanian public university to assess their awareness and concern about facts challenges imposed by ongoing digital transformation. study is based on statistical analysis answers obtained questionnaire that contained closed-ended questions with predefined open-ended where respondents could express personal point view. Understanding students’ needs expectations, as well impact transition professional training integration in sustainable economy, will serve background upon which quality programs can be improved implementing appropriate measures. highlighted necessity supplement curriculum specialized courses emerging technologies, intensify counseling transition, upgrade university’s infrastructure equipment software field assist insufficient resources, stimulate women participate skilling, upskilling, reskilling STEM fields. These changes expand development principles formal education, ensure competency-centered learning, increase access inclusive education.
