The landscape of higher education (HE) continues to change rapidly with the incorporation new artificial intelligence (AI) applications like generative (genAI). These transformations can be attributed ubiquity, efficacy, and quality genAI applications. GenAI will necessitate need for HE instructors adapt use these technologies sustain enhance student learning. This paper reports quantitative findings influencing instructors’ intentions adopt into their pedagogies. Artificial Intelligence Acceptance Measurement Survey (AIAMS) was developed adapted from revised Technology Model Survey-2 (TAMS-2) that incorporates main constructs Theory Planned Behavior (TPB). survey administered a sample different programs working in large Canadian urban polytechnic institution (n=87). Multiple regression analysis conducted identify determinants intention teaching. Statistical reveal attitudes toward were only significant factor intent it teaching practices. This survey study aims to understand how college students use and perceive artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It reports students’ use, perceived motivations, ethical concerns these variables are interrelated. Responses (n = 822) were collected from seven universities five UAE emirates. The findings show widespread of AI (79.6%), with various factors affecting perceptions about tools. Students also raised lack guidance on using Furthermore, mediation analyses revealed underlining psychological mechanisms pertaining tool adoption: benefits fully mediated relationship between knowledge usefulness perceptions, peer pressure academic stress adoption intent, support for institutional regulations. this provide implications opportunities challenges posed by higher education. is one first empirical insights into tools, examining models explore complexity their concerns, guidance.
