The study examines the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on digital competencies teachers and educational achievements students, focusing Serbia comparisons with other countries. For this study, a survey was conducted in three phases, completed by teachers. time periods during which surveys were filled out are characteristic because they correspond to specific points (June 2019, June 2022, May 2023). aim first for every school Republic explore teachers’ as recommendation Ministry Education. Later, took different purpose onset pandemic. exposed challenges such insufficient teacher preparation online teaching, inequalities affecting students from lower socio-economic backgrounds, varying levels adaptability among students. hypothesis research is follows: Teachers demonstrate significantly higher level literacy after crisis caused virus than before crisis. findings reveal improvements skills situation, particularly hardware, software, internet use, alongside shift primary tools entertainment education. emphasizes importance continuous professional development, standardized e-learning devices, improved infrastructure enhance quality found that showed situation. Key recommendations include integrating into training, fostering innovative pedagogical practices, addressing divide ensure equitable access education future.
