Myocardial

controls,
exhibited
more
severe
maladaptive
defenses,
lower
levels
of
affectivity.
Within
group,
severity
symptoms
was
immature
functioning
poorer
abilities
regulate
affects.
Notably,
worse
mediated
by
capacity
process
emotions.
The
mediating
role
this
specific
dimension
emphasizes
potential
affect
regulation
as
a
target
for
tailored
psychosocial
interventions
aimed
at
improving
clinical
outcomes.
