The new motto of our society is sustainability through digitalization. trend towards digitalization enterprises indeed a form sustainable development. Within the European Union, policies are drawn up, and actions undertaken to contribute creation sustainable, high-performing economy. Business performance today also associated with digitalization, i.e., use digital tools. widespread tools in economy depends on their implementation by Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which have significant weight each country member. Abstract Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are pushed to introduce new technologies due different requirements changes in the business setting. The SMEs' transformation exploit is challenging given their lack of resources complexity technological transformation, which encompasses technology assimilation model innovation (BMI). Although studies recognize complementarity BMI for benefiting from technology, literature fragmented, phenomenon remains abstract, especially context. This study investigates the intersection of digital transformation, business resilience, and marketing capabilities, focusing on small businesses startups. Purpose - Digital transformation through adopting emerging technologies is critical for Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to remain competitive advantages. However, research on drivers of SMEs' digital intention limited. Knowledge management capacity (KMC) can potentially influence technology adoption by signaling the value tools, but empirical evidence lacking. This study examines impact KMC mechanisms integrating Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. Design/methodology/approach A survey 214 SME managers in Vietnam was conducted. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling employed test model. Findings positively influenced perceived usefulness ease use, subsequently impacting attitude intention. Implication plays an important role SMEs benefits simplicity new technologies. result shaped owner-managers’ beliefs attitudes, highlighting need develop capabilities. The provides first linking digitalization SMEs. Originality/value introduced innovative approach as external, organization-level antecedent that influences individual perceptions, thus serving a mechanism. By doing so, substantially enhanced foundation theory within domain acceptance. Furthermore, incorporation into TAM framework had markedly augmented model's predictive capabilities, offering more robust comprehensive understanding determinants drive behavior.
