Remote sensing technology significantly contributes to fisheries management and marine ecosystem preservation. The development disparities among countries create gaps that hinder sustainable protection. Assessing progress efforts across regions is crucial for development. With various emerging technologies and integration possibilities, smart facility management has gained wide interest in recent years. Several were introduced to support facilities improve decision-making, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twin (DT), artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain. Yet, managers still face challenges related data handling the actual implementation these technologies. Thus, this paper explores trends possibilities provide a deeper understanding current research state areas for future exploration. The Scopus database is utilized collect literature data, bibliometric analysis conducted on 7236 publications different types, including conference publications, articles, reviews, book chapters, using VOSviewer software. results revealed noticeable growth annual number field after 2018. BIM, IoT, DT seen share greatest attention, with BIM being dominant technology. blockchain technology noticed be introducing many possibilities. The Internet of Robotic Things (IoRT) emerges from integrating robotics into the things (IoT). dynamic nature IoRT environment poses unique security challenges. Implementing adequate measures can be challenging due to limited resources, real-time operational requirements, and heterogeneous mobile network nodes. Machine learning-based intrusion detection systems (IDSs) have significantly improved IoT devices, other Cyber-Physical Systems (CPSs) by providing embedded intelligence mitigate cyber threats. Although machine learning models been extensively used in for systems, their specific application context remains unexplored. As a result, this paper proposes implementing IDSs enhance systems. To provide comprehensive overview emerging research domain, presents comparative review differentiate between CPSs, IoT, establish basis extending existing and, need more advanced solutions.
