This study analyzes articles published in peer-reviewed Brazilian journals that specifically deal with democracy and blockchain technology. It aims to highlight the recurring themes of selected articles, as well legal issues addressed, so it is possible, end, present an overview national scientific research. The research was conducted through indirect documentation, focuses on texts are freely available for consultation. Regarding its nature, undertaken seeks generate new knowledge practical application, characterizing itself applied research, addressing object both quantitative ways (construction corpus support from Publish or Perish computer program) qualitative ways. search Google Scholar database due being largest accessible database, current focusing literature topic, a temporal scope 2019 2023. As initial criterion, any text did not expressly refer title discarded, only those had term among their keywords were analyzed. Finally, resulting analyzed descriptive manner aiming synthesize produced knowledge, classifying terms recurrence central concern.
