Bidirectional energy storage inverters serve as crucial devices connecting distributed resources within microgrids to external large-scale power grids. Due the disruptive impacts arising during transition between grid-connected and islanded modes in bidirectional inverters, this paper proposes a smooth switching strategy based on droop control mitigate such impacts. Firstly, introduces principle of under inductive line impedance conditions, elaborating relevant components design rationale parameter selection for adopted study. During from mode, an improved Active Frequency Drift with Positive Feedback (AFDPF) method is introduced. Building upon traditional AFDPF, optimizes chopping coefficient by incorporating positive feedback piecewise function, tracking step size cube root frequency difference, thereby enhancing efficiency islanding detection while ensuring harmonic quality system. Conversely, composite pre-synchronization control, which enables precise phase, amplitude, output voltage inverter relative grid voltage. Finally, simulation models are established using MATLAB/Simulink(MathWorks, R2022b, U.S.), experimental platform TMS320F28378DPTPS controller built verification. The results demonstrate that proposed exhibits excellent stability achieves transitions modes, outperforming strategies.

ABSTRACT Full electric vessels can benefit from hybrid energy storage systems (HESS) that combine two technologies of different characteristics in terms power and density. The optimal design a HESS for vessel is generally rather complex multivariable optimization with several degrees freedom constraints.
