2050 building stock might be buildings that already exist today. A large percentage of these fail today’s energy performance standards. Highly inefficient delay progress toward a zero-carbon-building goal (SDGs 7 and 13) can lead to investments in renewable infrastructure. The study aims investigate how bioclimatic design strategies enhance efficiency selected orthopaedic hospitals Nigeria. objective includes Identifying the improve hospitals, assessing requirements an hospital Nigeria analysing effects enhancing engaged mixed (qualitative quantitative) research method. investigators used case as deductive approach paradigm. employed questionnaire survey for quantitative data while in-depth Interview (IDI) guide observation schedule qualitative data. findings present relationship between conservation practices building. In the construction sector, hospitals are buildings with highest energy consumption. Due to high demand for energy, hospitals’ efficiency is becoming very important. This study aims examine trends and factors that determine consumption in Polish from 2010 2019, highlighting impact of hospital size medical activities on efficiency. The analysis was carried out using data 3061 reports obtained e-Health Center, a state budgetary unit established by Minister Health. To measure compare usage hospitals, we developed eight indexes based activity. described number beds, operation rooms, doctors, nurses, fixed assets value. Hospital activity measured person-days, patients, operations. Statistical StatSoft Statistica software version 13.3. results show larger more efficient across various measures use than smaller hospitals. findings revealed also several important relationships between connected activity, such as patients staff, operations, asset values, underscoring necessity customizing strategies. research contributes empirical insights can guide policymakers administrators their endeavors improve promote sustainability within healthcare facilities.
