Abstract In this study, a lever was designed for manual shelling of maize. The is made up 30 mm diameter rod with 10 hole drilled at one end and 20 welded vertically to the rod, 400 from other end. maize ear placed inside 70 tube before when pushed forced through tube, in process seeds fall off cob. Explicit Dynamic Analysis done Ansys showed that will effectively shell ears without damage both seed Results gave 0.26485 m -9.7419e − 8 as maximum minimum values directional deformation, 76386 Pa 0 respectively equivalent stress, 9,4005e 6 m/m strain, 29.507 m/s 2 7e total acceleration, 21085 23604 shear strain respectively. This study therefore develops new cost-effective means which requires neither electricity nor any sort fuel operate.

Thermochemical pretreatment is an interesting approach for the effective separation of lignocellulosic biomass before fermentation bioethanol production. This research focused on optimising thermochemical conditions cassava waste using response surface methodology to predict glucose yields under optimal condition. The optimised 0.045 M NaOH concentration at 153.59 °C 48.03 min resulted in maximum yield 93.87%. In addition, process can generate ethanol within a range solid loading from 10% 20%. highest was 34.53 ± 0.56 g/L after 72 h, equivalent 0.46 g/g. co-products were also characterised further utilisation biorefinery concept. results this study confirmed that catalyst could provide high yields, which be easily converted into bio-based fuels and valorised value-added chemicals.

Cocoa (<i>Theobroma cacao</i>) is a well-known tropical plant extensively cultivated for its beans, which are the primary raw material chocolate production. This article aims to comprehensively review and analyze bioactive compounds present in cocoa their corresponding biological activities, highlighting potential implications human health. A systematic literature was conducted gather relevant research articles reviews related of activities. The databases used search included PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, with keywords such as "cocoa compounds," "flavonoids," "theobromine," "antioxidant activity," "cardiovascular health" data retrieval. analysis revealed that rich compounds, flavonoids (e.g., catechins, epicatechins), methylxanthines theobromine, caffeine), polyphenols. These have been associated various including potent antioxidant effects, anti-inflammatory properties, vasodilation, may positively influence cardiovascular consumption offer several health benefits due antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, cardiovascular-protective properties. However, further necessary fully understand mechanisms action determine appropriate dosage recommendations harnessing cocoa.
