In recent years, virtual reality (VR) technologies have become one of the teaching tools with greatest training potential in higher education. Thus, study factors that influence adoption and valuation VR by educational agents involved is a fruitful line research, because it can provide keys to promote its incorporation. This article compares assessments as technology education given professors from countries are members Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) those Latin region not CABEI. For this purpose, validated questionnaire on perception use was administered sample 1246 entire region, their responses were statistically analyzed. As result, found CABEI give better ratings usability dimensions report lower number disadvantages than outside However, increase digital competence more twice high VR. It follows there still much room integration countries. Furthermore, pronounced gap between private public universities respect above-mentioned non-CABEI consequence, some implications suggestions derived results reported.

In response to the digital transformation in education, this study explores efficacy of virtual reality (VR) video games teaching direct current electrical circuits at a public university Colombia. Using mixed-method action research approach, aimed design, implement, and evaluate VR-based educational strategy enhance undergraduate learning experiences. The methodology integrated VR into curriculum, facilitating comparison innovative approach with traditional methods. results indicate that significantly improved students’ comprehension increased engagement, demonstrating utility immersive technologies settings. Challenges such as need for technological integration curriculum adaptation were also identified. This concludes can effectively augment engineering offering model incorporating advanced tools higher education curricula. aligns ongoing trends transformation, suggesting significant potential broad applications across various contexts.
