This study explored the effects of mango seed (MS) powder supplementation on growth, immune response, gene expression, and intestinal morphology Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) over an 8-week period. A total 300 fingerlings (average weight 15.29 ± 0.05 g) were divided into five treatment groups fed either a basal diet or one four experimental diets containing MS at concentrations 10 (MS10), 20 (MS20), 40 (MS40), 80 (MS80) g kg−1. The results demonstrated that MS-supplemented experienced significant improvements (p < 0.05) in gain (WG), specific growth rate (SGR), survival (SR) compared to control group (0 kg−1 MS). MS-treated also showed increase height branching villi along entire length intestine, as well significantly higher villus-to-crypt depth ratio (V/C), indicating enhanced health functionality. Moreover, although did not peroxidase activity, it lead activity skin mucus serum lysozyme, with upregulated expression immune-related (IL-1, IL-8, LBP) antioxidant genes (GST-α, GPX, GSR). Polynomial regression analysis identified optimal dosage 36.43–45 for effectively improving immunity, immuno-oxidant tilapia. These emphasize promising natural supplement and, potentially, other freshwater fish widely used aquaculture.

In this study, the impact of leonardite as a feed additive in goldfish diets was examined, focusing on its potential to positively influence and water parameters, which are critical for achieving sustainable ornamental fish farming. were fed containing four different levels (0%, 2%, 6%, 10%). The experiment conducted 12 tanks with 3 replicates per treatment lasted months. fish, provided from Research, Production Training Institute, an average live weight 0.947 ± 0.03 g length 1.12 0.02 cm, used. After 90 days, it observed that specific growth rates increased correlation amount diet, statistically significant difference identified (p < 0.05). investigated coloration added first time, determined color approached yellow orange Given positive effects pigmentation is recommended further detailed investigations be leonardite, natural, harmless, cost-effective additive, using species.

The global demand for high-quality animal products, particularly dairy, has intensified the need more precise and efficient livestock feed formulation. This review connects data-driven decision-making in optimizing formulation to enhance milk quantity quality while addressing health implications. Modern evolved into a sophisticated, data-centric process by integrating diverse data sources such as nutritional databases, environmental data, performance metrics. Leveraging advanced analytical techniques, machine learning optimization algorithms, have created highly accurate formulations tailored specific needs. These innovations increase yield contribute developing dairy products with higher value. Decision Support Systems play complementary role offering real-time capabilities, enabling farmers make data-informed adjustments composition based on changing conditions. However, despite its potential, widespread adoption of faces challenges quality, technological limitations, industry resistance, mostly disjointed processes. objectives this are: (i) explore current advancements formulation, focusing connection (ii) highlight how optimized strategy improves sustainable production.

This study aimed to assess the combined effects of Cyanus depressus and Schizochytrium sp. extracts on growth indices expression genes linked antioxidant activity immunity in carp (Cyprinus carpio). Fish, averaging 3.71 ± 0.16 g weight, were assigned three dietary groups over a 60-day period: control group (0 g/kg extract) two test receiving extract mixtures at 0.5 (CS05) 1 (CS1). The supplemented groups, particularly those g/kg, showed significant increases final body weight gain, specific rate. highest superoxide dismutase (SOD) catalase (CAT) gene levels seen fish CS-supplemented diet, CS-fed displayed greatest immune-related interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) relative control. Collectively, these findings indicate that extracts, especially dosage have promising potential as supplements for enhancing physiological health carp.

Abstract BACKGROUND Haematococcus pluvialis ( Hp ), a freshwater chlorophyte microalga, is major natural source of astaxanthin ASX potent antioxidant with anti‐inflammatory, anticarcinogenic and muscle pigmentation properties. However, bioavailability limited by the rigid cyst wall and, although cell rupture improves bioavailability, free form unstable under high temperatures, pH extremes, light or oxygen. Encapsulation techniques improve stability, making it suitable for functional foods aquaculture, especially in salmonid feeds where pigments are preferred. The present study evaluates stability weakened w ) biomass encapsulated alginate ALG via ionic gelation. RESULTS utilizing achieved efficiency (97 ± 2.63%) loading capacity (32 0.90%), confirming its suitability as material. ‐ hydrogels displayed significant color intensity, enhancing potential feed food hues. Low bulk density (0.59 0.01 g cm −3 moisture content (11.97 0.20%) water activity (0.28 0.00) suggest minimized oxidation processes.
