Phytochemicals have been highlighted in several sectors of industry due to their different biological activities. In fact, the curcumin is a polyphenol extracted from rhizome turmeric (Curcuma longa) consumed form kitchen spices since ancient times which it has demonstrated beneficial health effects such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic, anti-tumor, and so on. However, concentration bloodstream very low its high hydrophobicity, absorption intestinal physiological conditions, metabolism rate liver, rapid excretion by gallbladder. Poor bioavailability limited bioactivity phytochemical. Efforts made improve upon this using chemical modification encapsulation approaches. Considering versatility, safety, biocompatibility, technologies more effective improved dispersibility, stability, bioavailability, phytochemicals vivo vitro assays. Therefore, chapter focused on aspects involved (e.g., solubility, food matrix effects) phytochemical with great potential for cancer neurodegenerative diseases chemopreventive effect. We also strategies used enhance based resulting nanoparticle drug delivery systems. The topic discussed here should contribute research related approaches other improving and, consequently, human conditions.

Abstract Curcumin is a natural polyphenolic compound extracted from turmeric with antibacterial, antioxidant, antitumor, preventive and therapeutic neurological disorders variety of bioactivities, which widely used in the field food medicine. However, drawbacks curcumin such as poor aqueous solubility stability have limited practical application curcumin. To overcome these defects enhance its functional properties, various nanoscale systems (liposomes, polymer nanoparticles, protein solid lipid metal etc) been extensively employed for encapsulation delivery. Despite rapid development nanoformulations, there lack comprehensive reviews on their preparation properties. This review provides an overview construction nano-delivery systems, mechanisms action, nanocarrier methods applications nanocarriers pharmaceutical fields to provide theoretical basis technological support efficient bio-utilization, product early clinical

Nanoparticles (NPs) are widely used in the pharmaceutical field to treat various human disorders. Among these, lipid-based NPs (LNPs), including solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) and nanostructured carriers (NLC), favored for drug/bioactive delivery due their high stability, biocompatibility, encapsulation efficiency, sustained/controlled release. These properties make them particularly suitable as of compounds derived from plant sources.

Background: The purpose of the current work was to manufacture vitamin A (Vit A) niosome and solid lipid nanoparticle (SLN) using an ultrasonic approach evaluate its effect on wound healing. Methods: nanoparticles were prepared through ultrasonication technique characterized by dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Further, evaluated for their various parameters such as pH, viscosity, spreadability, stability, in-vitro drug release study, cytotoxicity, in-vivo Results: TEM confirmed spherical nature Vit A-niosome SLN. formulations (niosome SLN) stable in accelerated stability test (freeze-thaw cycle). from SLN gel significantly higher (almost 70 80%, respectively) than simple gel. According animal healing closure niosomal greater other groups during 21 days after surgery (P < 0.05) close each over time day 21. Based histological data, wounds treated with A-SLN had more collagen groups. MDA malondialdehyde (MDA, end-product peroxidation) decreased group days, while glutathione peroxidase (GPx), superoxide dismutase (SOD, endogenous antioxidant), hydroxyproline levels demonstrated increase. Conclusion: findings this study revealed that nano-formulations could be used a possible safe nano-vesicle cutaneous delivery thus potentially opening up new prospects treatment disorders.

Nanoencapsulation of essential oils is a promising strategy for extending their antifungal activity and addressing evaporation decomposition in unfavorable environmental conditions. This research aimed to synthesize compare the physical properties solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) containing peppermint oil (PE) during 12 months storage at various temperatures (4°C, 25°C, 27°C with 60% relative humidity, 37°C, 40°C 75% humidity), investigate compared free PE. The SLN formulations were prepared using high-shear homogenization ultrasound techniques analyzed particle size analyzer, differential scanning calorimetry, transmission electron microscopy, microscopic images fungal mycelium assess encapsulation efficacy. results showed that PE-SLNs had 164.2 ±5.8 nm, PDI value 0.176 ±0.01, zeta potential –11.3 mV, an percentage approximately 75 ±0.5%. Overall, slight acceptable increase over 12-month period all investigated temperatures. Furthermore, vitro inhibition PE concentration 2000 μL L–1 against Penicillium italicum P. digitatum was 66.7% ±2.6 66.8% ±0.8, respectively, while it 88.8% ±0.9 89.9% ±1.4. These demonstrate SLNs as effective carrier sustained delivery improved storage.
