Fruits

Abstract
Pomegranate
peel
(PoP)
is
a
byproduct
of
the
pomegranate
juice
industry
and
contains
substantial
quantity
bioactive
compounds
that
hold
considerable
promise
for
implementation
in
sustainable
packaging
applications.
This
review
article
provides
an
exhaustive
examination
different
extraction
methods
are
employed
to
extract
valuable
from
PoPs.
The
encompassing
contemporary
techniques
such
as
ultrasound‐assisted
extraction,
microwave‐assisted
supercritical
fluid
extraction.
It
assesses
effectiveness,
yield,
environmental
repercussions
each
technique.
Additionally,
paper
explores
wide
range
found
PoPs,
which
contribute
their
exceptional
suitability
purposes.
PoP
have
demonstrated
potential
prolonging
viability
packaged
goods
decreasing
reliance
on
synthetic
