As a polyphenolic plant flavone, luteolin (Lut) is widely found in many medicinal plants, flowers, and vegetables. Although Lut has been shown to have the effect of preventing treating skin photoaging, its role photoaging specifically induced by ultraviolet A (UVA) radiation remains underreported. In vivo, BALB/c mice were used as models for treated with Lut. Additionally, NIH-3T3 fibroblasts utilized vitro further investigate whether exerts anti-photoaging effects enhancing fibroblast vitality function. Several biochemical assays (CCK-8, catalase, superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde, dichloro-dihydro-fluorescein diacetate, quantitative real-time-PCR, gene expression patterns) histochemical (histological staining, immunofluorescent SA-β-Gal experiments, western blotting analysis) conducted. Abstract Dermatological diseases represent one of the most prevalent health concerns globally, with associated care and treatment costs having consistently increased over past decade. Current therapeutic modalities, including topical medications, oral pharmaceuticals, physical therapies, frequently face challenges such as inadequate drug absorption substantial adverse effects. Microneedles, recognized minimally invasive delivery systems, effectively penetrate cutaneous barrier to enhance permeability efficacy. Polyphenols—abundant in botanical marine sources—demonstrate diverse pharmacological properties encompassing anti‐inflammatory antioxidant activities. The integration polyphenols microneedle technology has emerged a promising strategy for dermatological conditions, demonstrating significant clinical potential. This review examines multifunctional capabilities polyphenol‐incorporated microneedles elucidates their mechanisms action managing disorders. Furthermore, it synthesizes recent progress polyphenol‐based applications various pathologies, acne vulgaris, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis. Finally, current is discussed proposed future research directions optimizing polyphenol systems therapeutics.

Inflammaging is a chronic, low-grade inflammatory state that contributes to age-related diseases, including cardiovascular disorders, osteoporosis, neurodegeneration, and cancer. This process involves immunosenescence, oxidative stress, immune aging, all of which contribute the breakdown tolerance onset autoimmune disorders. Aloe vera (AV) has recently gained attention for its immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties. review explores effects AV extracts anthraquinones (e.g., aloe–emodin, emodin, aloin) on key inflammaging-driven mechanisms in autoimmunity. Our analysis highlights AV’s ability regulate hormone balance, autoantibody production, cytokine/chemokine signaling (such as interleukin-1β, tumor necrosis factor-α, interferon-γ). It modulates pathways, mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/AKT), thereby inhibiting nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer activated B-cell (NF-κB) activation. Pelargonium graveolens L'Hér is an evergreen small shrub with pink flowers. Metabolite profiling of its extract by UHPLC/MS analysis revealed the identification 51 secondary metabolites. Interestingly, 29 compounds identified for first time. The colorimetric assays high content phenolic, flavonoids and tannins (100.19 ± 3.94 µg Gallic acid Eq/mg, 47.38 2.04 Rutin Eq/mg 332.75 8.85 Catechin extract) respectively along good antioxidant activity. Moreover, in vitro showed a significant anti-hyaluronidase activity (IC50 SD = 15.75 0.8), as compared to standard luteolin. Topical application characterised P. hydrogel (1% 2% w/w) was tested using D-galactose-induced ageing model mice. Histopathological examination demonstrated increase dermal collagen expression, alleviation ageing-related oxidative stress, stabilisation MMP-1/TIMP-1 balance. Ruta chalepensis has long been recognized in traditional medicine for its diverse pharmacological properties. The primary aim of this study was to analyze the phytochemical composition and evaluate antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, anticollagenase, antielastase activities methanolic extract derived from R. . subjected screening using LC‐MS analysis. For evaluation antioxidant activity, 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) 2,2′‐azino‐bis (3‐ethylbenzothiazoline‐6‐sulfonic acid) (ABTS) assays were used. anti‐inflammatory properties investigated a protein denaturation bioassay. Finally, fluorometric kits assessed anticollagenase activities. identified 33 compounds, dominant being 3,3′,4,5,7‐pentahydroxyflavone (9.4%), myricetin (8.9%). showed with IC 50 values 30.1 μ g/mL DPPH assay 25.4 ABTS assay. Moreover, displayed significant inhibition across range concentrations. Additionally, exhibited dose‐dependent inhibitory effect on collagenase elastase highest concentration tested, 5%, achieved 41.7% 62.4% inhibition. Little is known about the anti-graying effects of antioxidants on hair. The three (luteolin, hesperetin, and diosmetin) hair were investigated according to sequential processes graying that previously clarified in model mice [Ednrb(+/−);RET-mice]. External treatment with luteolin, but not hesperetin or diosmetin, alleviated Ednrb(+/−);RET-mice. Internal luteolin also mitigated mice. Although both treatments had very limited cycles, suppressed increase p16ink4a-positive cells bulges [senescent keratinocyte stem (KSCs)]. Abstract Cellular senescence is a cell fate triggered by inherent or environmental stress and characterized stable cycle arrest accompanied hypersecretory feature, termed as the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP). Senescent burden increases with natural aging, functionally contributing to age-related organ dysfunction multiple disorders. In this study, we performed large scale screening of product library for senotherapeutic candidates assessing their effects on human senescent cells. Apigenin, dietary flavonoid previously reported antioxidant anti-inflammatory activities, exhibited prominent capacity in targeting cells senomorphic agent. cells, apigenin blocks interactions between ATM/p38 HSPA8, thus preventing transition acute stress-associated (ASAP) towards SASP.
