This study investigates how Industry 4.0 technologies can optimize transportation efficiency and contribute to global sustainability goals by reducing CO2 emissions. In response the pressing climate emergency, research examines role of Internet Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), predictive analytics in enhancing operational performance aligning systems with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 13 (climate action) 9 (industry, innovation, infrastructure). Using a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews focus groups were conducted industry experts, data analyzed using thematic analysis network mapping NVivo software. The findings reveal that IoT enhances real-time monitoring, AI enables dynamic route optimization, supports proactive maintenance, collectively achieving an average emission reductions 30%. However, adoption is hindered infrastructure gaps, high implementation costs, skill shortages, fragmented regulatory frameworks. integrates Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework Corporate Theory provide structured digital transformation transportation. offer strategic insights for policymakers stakeholders, highlighting need stronger support, targeted incentives, investments.
