This study aimed to determine the significant relationship between food and nutrition literacy academic performance among intermediate-level students. Total population sampling was used which included fifty-three respondents. Through non-experimental quantitative descriptive-correlational research technique, validated questionnaire, Mean, Pearson-Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (Pearson-r); results showed that level of high or evident. Food choices are influenced by knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors (KABs); therefore, determining KABs regarding salt is a key point for reduction, which primary public health problem in Turkey. Background: Food literacy is an essential aspect of modern education, nourishing students with the knowledge and necessary skills to make informed, healthy, sustainable food choices. Building upon validated research conducted in Portugal concerning nutritional level Portuguese students, our objective was provide a similar survey instrument Romanian assess their literacy.
