Structural equation modeling (SEM) with bootstrapping method used conduct mediated effects communication. Using SEM, significantly affected (coefficient 0.808). Moreover, direct effect indirect (via functioning) were both significant, coefficients 0.682 0.126. In addition, numerous groups from been analyzed sample shown no differences relationships resilience, communication, functioning. conclusion, results showed that type this mediation seemed be partial because significant According findings, healthcare providers should consider improving achieve good

ABSTRACT Background Cancer patients are at risk of post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) throughout their treatment journey due to serious challenges (e.g., complex surgical interventions, severe pain, and side effects from chemotherapy or radiation therapy). This may worsen patients’ health negatively impact overall well‐being. However, this area remains understudied in Algeria. Therefore, there is a need understand the levels PTSD symptoms associated factors among Algerian patients. To ensure accurate assessment diagnosis, validation study was conducted confirm that measurement instrument used culturally appropriate for context. The study’s main objectives were (i) determine prevalence cancer Algeria, (ii) validate Arabic DSM‐5 Checklist (PCL‐5) patients, (iii) explore associations between demographic clinical population. Methods present cross‐sectional comprised 370 All participants receiving oncology wards across various hospitals. completed PCL‐5. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) examine structure Results PCL‐5 found have four‐factor structure. Out participants, 154 (41.6%) had scores below cutoff 31, indicating lower symptoms; 216 (58.4%) above threshold, suggesting likelihood PTSD. Moreover, significantly with patients' low educational attainment more advanced stages disease.
