ABSTRACT Objective To assess the effect of chairside adjustment and polishing on clinical performance zirconia endocrowns digitally calculate opposing enamel wear. Materials Methods A total 20 participants received their endodontically treated lower first molars. All were fabricated using CAD/CAM technology. According to occlusal adjustments needed for restorations, patients divided into two groups: Group ZG with 10 glazed monolithic ZP adjusted polished endocrowns. Bonded evaluated clinically radiographically 24 months following modified FDI criteria. Wear antagonistic was calculated at 6, 12, 18, an intraoral scanner Geomagic software. Results The overall survival rate 100%, according Kaplan–Meier method. None replaced during follow‐up. After 2 years, caused wear (0.422 ± 0.130 mm 3 ), while (0.491 0.105 no statistically significant difference ( p = 0.108). Conclusion Both showed comparable after a 2‐year follow‐up, difference. Clinical Significance Glazing or intra‐oral could be applied minimal antagonist

Background: Tooth substance loss, when unrelated to bacterial activity, encompasses several conditions such as attrition, abrasion, erosion, and resorption. Each of these forms tooth wear results from different etiological factors, including mechanical forces, dietary acids, physiological processes. Despite the significance conditions, awareness non-bacterial causes is limited among general population, especially young adults. University students, who are exposed a variety stressors lifestyle habits, may be at increased risk for issues. Objective: This study investigates prevalence loss evaluates level Libyan university focusing on factors that contribute Methods: A cross-sectional was conducted using an online Google Forms survey, distributed via social media. total 523 responses were collected. The questionnaire gathered demographic data, oral health practices, symptoms (NBTLS), like Descriptive statistics used analyze assessing levels. Chi-square tests examined associations between NBTLS awareness. Statistical set p < 0.05. Results: involved revealing significant age skew towards 21-23 years (56.8%), with majority female population (69.8%). Most participants Dental field (62.9%). In terms 38.2% visited dentist every six months, 57.9% brushed twice daily. Awareness varied, 68.9% recognizing abrasion 54.1% erosion. Notably, 45.5% reported experiencing symptoms, 99.2% showed strong interest in learning about wear, binomial test confirming this statistically (p 0.001). Conclusion: underscores alongside marked further education subject. generally proactive practices observed, there variability specific erosion overwhelmingly high supported by statistical significance, indicates critical need enhanced educational initiatives. Targeted interventions essential bridge existing knowledge gaps promote effective preventative strategies within demographic.
