Purpose This study aims to evaluate the effects of perceived leader–-member exchange and working conditions on turnover intention among healthcare employees. Design/methodology/approach The population consisted employees in a medical faculty hospital Türkiye. A stratified sampling method was used sample selection. data were obtained by questionnaire method, voluntary participation taken as basis. included sociodemographic information, (LMX) scale scale. research conducted between April May 2022 completed with 400 participants. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis multiple linear stepwise regression analyses chosen for analysis. Findings findings showed that participants had medium-level perception intention. Multiple revealed especially “affect professional respect” sub-dimensions LMX statistically significant negative effect scores. In addition, weekly hours positive ( p < 0.05). Finally, it determined variance score explained R 2 = 0.241). Originality/value provides evidence impact “affect” “professional leader–member well work environment factors intentions results are expected guide organization leaders managers how create collaborative leads employee retention.
