In the context of current global rural decline, land consolidation has been adopted with objectives promoting vitalization and regional sustainable development. this paper, we provide a theoretical framework for restructuring driven by comprehensive (CLC). The describes three key mechanisms spatial, economic, social CLC: improving spatial patterns functions, vitalizing collective economy, reshaping community. Based on framework, present case that exemplifies micro processes restructuring. Taking as material basis carrier, CLC promotes economic from traditional agricultural production to modern industrial integration, well society urbanization, communitization, diversified culture. After CLC, it is very important further enhance sustainability development cohesion prosperity

The existing evaluation system of cultivated land quality mainly considers the natural and utilisation conditions, but without sufficient emphasis on ecological environment, which can’t meet requirements trinity pattern protection policy. This study, using GIS spatial analysis multifactor comprehensive method, constructed a index system, applied it in Shengzhou. results show that: (1) under was classified into five levels revealed normal distribution with third level area as peak, successive reduction to two poles, overall good relatively; (2) A close relationship observed between grade landform, valley plain highest main grain-producing areas. However, mountainous areas poor relatively, vulnerable geological disasters; (3) related economical activities directly. high-quality resources made these towns many agricultural industries distribution. study provided new assessment approach that can support grading, improvement, sustainable usage, well providing reference for research application.

Changes in cropland due to ecological restoration can affect the effective supply of food. Combining socio-economic and climate change build a theoretical framework that integrates (ER), intensive use (ICU), climatic conditions (CCs) food security (FS). Based on panel data Chinese cities at prefecture level above from 2000 2019, moderated mediating model is used investigate role ICU process ER affecting FS under moderation different CCs such as temperature, precipitation, sunshine hours, analyze regional heterogeneity this effect. ABSTRACT Land tenure security influences several processes relevant to the long‐term sustainability of farmland management, including agricultural land conversion urban use (ALCU). This phenomenon has been illustrated by studies, mainly on scale individual countries. However, there is a noticeable lack global‐scale analyses examining how different aspects affect ALCU. To address this gap, we have conducted meta‐analysis 62 studies that provide quantitative insights into effects variables We used Comprehensive Meta‐Analysis (CMA) software extract data from original articles, type (expressed as farmed its owner and tenant), legal status (titled untitled land), cadastral assignment (designated not‐designated ownership (private communal land). found significant all these was most substantial factor protecting urbanization, with 3.42% decrease in also observed 2.97% ALCU titled land, 2.62% designated 1.85% privately owned. The application findings implications for policymakers are substantial: (i) efforts secure tenure, especially underinvested areas, can minimize degradation resources facilitate better preservation, (ii) support owner‐operated farming, titles, private conducive sustainable (iii) synergic effect promoting should be utilized protect uses.

ABSTRACTDiversification is key for agroecological transformations, but little known about how it relates to farmers' dietary diversity and food sovereignty. Our team coffee cooperative staff conducted a participatory action research mixed methods study, including 171 surveys 50 interviews. Over 70% of the farmers reported self-initiated diversification activities. Statistical analysis showed significant positive correlation between crop diversity, while controlling farm size income. To assess gender relations females responded 41% surveys, we separated focus groups by sex. Average male-owned farms were 1.8 ha larger than women-owned farms, yet found no differences in household security or diversity. Additional disparities included male vs. female perceptions who does additional work decides strategies. Although co-op has strong equity technical assistance program, our extension training documents identified useful content smaller percent participants sessions. Suggested strategic actions planning include supporting: (1) land ownership, (2) focused farmer-led experimentation, (3) more men on gender, women diversification, all feminist agroecology.KEYWORDS: AgroecologygenderCentral Americadiversificationfood sovereigntyparticipatory researchClimate adptation AcknowledgmentWe are grateful PRODECOOP families, facilitators promoters each cooperative, members project as well support from Raul Diaz, Rosario Herrera, at ASDENIC Nicaragua Universidad Nacional Agraria (UNA).
