<p>The occupational exposure to trauma and its potential impacts among legal professionals working in the criminal justice system is an area that has historically been neglected only gained traction recent years. Crown prosecutors, as a subset of practising lawyers New Zealand with potentially traumatic material (PTM), are arguably at heightened risk vicarious (VT) need engage emotional labour (EL). The current study qualitatively investigated prosecutors’ experiences PTM emotions their role through three key research questions: 1) What PTM? 2) sort EL do prosecutors experience, if any, courts? 3) factors personal professional lives might exacerbate or alleviate VT symptoms? Hopelessness is a particularly critical condition and risk factor for suicide. Many studies have reported that this common in some occupations associated with high stress not properly managed. This study examined the prevalence of hopeless status (HS) sample police officers (POs) association hopelessness depression, burnout, suicidality. Abstract Through the course of their career, it is expected that police officers are exposed to stressful and emotionally challenging environments, which, combined with well-known organizational occupational stressors, makes this professional class vulnerable several psychological medical conditions. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in developing intervention programs seek minimize impact changing nature work within society promote skills enable deal more effectively current future challenges. Therefore, aim review systematize resilience training characterize format, content, efficacy. For purpose, we searched four databases for delivered police. We reached final sample 32 articles from total 550 published studies. The considered were divided into three main groups: mindfulness-based interventions ( n = 13), neurobiological-based other did not fit previous categories 6). There was much inter-intervention variability, mainly concerning structure approach. However, relatively uniform topics covered, such as psychoeducation, scenario simulation, debriefing. Nonetheless, most studies found positive outcomes on variables interest, predominantly clinical performance indicators (e.g., stress, anxiety, decision-making). Subsequent research endeavors could determine reliable measure outcome measures efficacy, alongside identifying pivotal factors crucial robust impactful intervention.

ABSTRACT Anti‐violence Human Resource Management (HRM) practices can be used as an organizational resource to buffer the effects of violence experienced by frontline workers. This research examines process through which different forms workplace (i.e., physical, verbal, and vicarious) impact how employees cope, thereby their intentions leave profession. Drawing on Conservation Resources (COR) theory, we collected two waves data ( N = 371) from police officers in Victoria, Australia, test our proposed hypotheses. The findings demonstrated that physical violence, verbal abuse, vicarious were positively associated with coping denial. Importantly, denial mediated relationship between officers' intention Finally, anti‐violence HRM buffered indirect effect profession via denial, whereas no was found for abuse. Burnout is a syndrome that results from stressors in the work environment have not been successfully managed. The prevalence of burnout among schoolteachers was always controversial. COVID-19 pandemic added more to teachers since they had change their working styles response lockdowns or curfews. In Saudi Arabia, and determinants school were measured by any other group during stressors.A cross-sectional survey conducted 879 Jazan region, using Maslach Inventory (MBI), April 2021. Multistage cluster random sampling used.The mean age participants 41.4 (±6.9) years. Male represented 52.6% while females 47.4%. Most showed symptoms (69.6%). Consequences observed, such as psychotropic medications (4.6%), absenteeism (45.6%), lack job satisfaction (7.7%), changing schools (15.8%). Using MBI scale, most medium high emotional exhaustion (57.6%), low depersonalization (62.2%), personal accomplishment (51.4%).Most pandemic. Being an expert ability adapt technology proved effectively reduce symptoms. Increasing incentives, early detection, improving recommended diminish consequences.

Abstract Repeated exposure to traumatogenic material is a part of every working day for police officers in specialist units, such as forensic scene investigation and digital analysis, with recent years marking an increase its volume intensity (Office National Statistics (2018). While this may be considered price paid choosing pursue careers these areas, it likely have significant impact on professional personal level, psychological physical effects extending beyond the individual’s hours (Burns et al. Traumatology 14:20–31, 2008). On other hand, important work contribute elements growth self-development, recognised existing literature post-traumatic (Tedschi Calhoun SAGE Publications, Inc, 1995). The present study adopted qualitative approach understanding lived experiences seven analysts two investigators. Semi-structured interviews explored their work, well coping strategies perceived organisational support. Using interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA), yielded rich accounts identified three superordinate themes: “The are inevitable”, “Creating safe environment”, “Sense responsibility growth”.
