Although gratitude is a culturally-sensitive construct, it has yet received limited research attention in Arab countries, hence hindering the understanding of its features, correlates, and cross-cultural specificities. To fill this gap, we sought to examine psychometric properties an Arabic translation 6-item Gratitude Questionnaire (GQ) Arabic-speaking sample adults from general population Lebanon. We conducted web-based survey including 601 participants (mean age 29.91 ± 12.61, 62.7% females). The forward-backward method was used for adaptation GQ-6 into language. Findings indicated that four-item version GQ achieved adequate fit statistics with removal two reverse-scored third sixth items. found McDonald Omega coefficient total 4-item (GQ-4) scores 0.88, thus attesting good reliability scale. Multiple-group Confirmatory Factor Analysis showed scale structure invariant across male female respondents at configural, metric, scalar levels. Females exhibited significantly higher compared males. Finally, discriminant validity GQ-4 evidenced through positive significant correlations social support qualities, suggesting suitable measuring people's disposition toward backgrounds. Offering as brief, simple, cost-effective, valid, reliable measure community could help raise awareness about key component achieving mental health wellbeing contexts.

Methods This study collected questionnaire data from 493 aged 17-22 years old in Jiangxi Province. were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis, restricted cubic spline (RCS), structural equation modelling (SEM) with aim exploring differences effects emotions different youth groups. Results findings indicated notable discrepancies gender place residence. Secondly, positively drives emotions. revealed that triggered significantly higher rural than urban adolescents; male exhibited levels female same Additionally, family factors, physical exercise resilience can directly or indirectly inhibit adolescents. Background The Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scales-21 (DASS-21) contain three subscales measuring depression, anxiety, and stress. Several abbreviated DASS-21 versions have been developed, demonstrating better clinical utility measurement properties than the original instrument. This study explored factor structure of various identified/validated optimal one for assessing young adults with temporomandibular disorders (TMDs). Methods A total 974 university-attending were recruited in two waves (wave 1: 519; wave 2: 455). Demographic information, DASS-21, quintessence five TMD symptoms (5Ts) Diagnostic Criteria TMDs collected. Principal component analysis (PCA) was employed to condense 1 data), while confirmatory (CFA) used determine maximum likelihood estimates compare different 2 data). Known-group, concurrent (criterion) validity reliability subsequently evaluated. Results mean age participants 21 (SD = 0.1) years 80.4% women. Twelve items identified from PCA. However, Korean DASS-12 provided best-fit model (χ /df 2.07, CFI 0.975, TLI 0.960, RMSEA 0.049, SRMR 0.033) among seven CFA. showed good known-group (r s 0.959) when contrasted DASS-21. Conclusion possessed a fit, known-group, as well reliability, best version screening psychological distress.

Methods A sample from repeated cross-sectional online survey was collected March 2022 August 2023, who reported in past 30 days (N=5169). Regression models were used assess associations between weekly campaign awareness frequency exposure within next 6 months targeted related Results Participants aware both knowledge-building messaging likely report (OR 1.43, (95% CI 1.21, 1.69)) agree with quitting-related (ORs 1.35–1.63) belief scale (b=1.14 0.69, 1.59)), relative those no awareness. The held dose-response relationship almost all outcomes. Conclusion Findings suggest that educates harms resources are associated higher quitting people e-cigarettes.
