Aim: The purpose of this study was to ascertain how college students felt about people who were HIV/AIDS positive. Method: is cross-sectional and descriptive in nature. data the collected from 367 university through an online questionnaire. Attitudes Towards Individuals Living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) Scale for University Students participants' personal identification form utilized as collection instruments. statistical program IBM SPSS 26.0 analyze data. This study aimed to assess the knowledge, practices, and beliefs among Jordanian population regarding hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Background: The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and the social stigma directed toward patients with HIV are serious public health issues. We aimed to evaluate knowledge base stigmatizing attitudes among students enrolled in medical schools Saudi Arabia. Methods: This cross-sectional study included at colleges Arabia was conducted between February March 2023. used non-random convenience sampling an online chain referral via a validated Arabic questionnaire composed of 35 questions. Data were analyzed using descriptive comparative statistics. Results: A total 1,213 (women: 56.6%) participated study. Students clinical years had higher level than their pre-clinical colleagues. Logistic regression analysis revealed that participants who gave incorrect answers questions related mother-to-child casual contact transmission likelihood harboring negative attitude towards HIV. Conversely, those correctly answered queries on prevention treatment less likely have attitudes. significant proportion this cohort harbored HIV, sex geographic location being predictors Conclusion: Our data percentage misconceptions about prevention, indicating need for targeted interventions enhance population future caregivers.

The study of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-related stigma and discrimination has been burgeoning with important implications for public health society, as it negatively impacts people living HIV. However, data on the experiences rural women HIV/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in Zimbabwe are lacking. Women represent 50% global pandemic, while deaths from AIDS-related illnesses have exceeded 35 million. This aimed to explore HIV/AIDS Zimbabwe. Forty HIV were selected 6 villages (one village per district) Matabeleland South Province A qualitative descriptive research design using in-depth individual interviews 22 purposefully 3 focus groups, was used collect data. transcripts analyzed interpretative phenomenological analysis. Three interconnected themes identified: social prejudice, discrimination, psychosocial dysfunction. key finding that psychosocially dysfunctional because prejudice perpetrated against them by significant others their communities. findings provide a valuable understanding women’s AIDS Africa’s low-income countries. These results can be researchers, clinicians, mental providers, policymakers address unique needs HIV/AIDS.

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging time for medical care, especially in the field of infectious diseases (ID), but it also provided an opportunity to introduce new solutions HIV management. Here, we investigated changes service provision across Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries before after outbreak. Methods: Euroguidelines Europe Network Group consists experts ID from 24 within CEE region. Between 11 September 29 2021, group produced on-line survey, consisting 32 questions on models care among clinics SARS-CoV-2 Results: Twenty-three centers 19 (79.2% all invited) participated survey. In 69.5% countries, there were more than four centers, three (21%), was only one center each country. based hospitals plus out-patient (52%), centralized big cities publicly financed (96%). Integrated services available 21 (91%) with access specialists other ID, including psychologists 71.5% psychiatrists 43%, gynecologists 47.5%, dermatologists 52.5%, social workers 62% clinics. Patient-centered 17 (74%), allowing consultations tests be planned same day. Telehealth tools used (47%) outbreak, 18 (78%) (p = 0.36), represented mostly by over telephone or via e-mail. The Infectious and Tropical Diseases Department of the University Brescia organized free rapid screening tests for HIV HCV as part Fast-Track City commitment. A cross-sectional study was conducted, consisting an anonymous multiple-choice questionnaire that administered to individuals who underwent or consultation. aimed compare knowledge attitudes towards between age groups (18-40 vs. >40) sexual orientations (heterosexual LGBTQ+). Overall, 333 questionnaires were completed. only 107 (32%) respondents knew how is transmitted. Major differences shown different groups, where people under 40 had a significantly higher correct response rate than over (n = 101; 39% versus n 6; 7.8%, p < 0.00001). Similarly, almost half LGBTQI+ 28; 44.4%) gave answer, 30% 79) heterosexuals (p 0.0359). Only 9.6% population demonstrated high levels both HCV. Our highlights misconceptions about should be addressed in prevention education programs, whose target also specific populations.

Introduction: The burden of HIV-AIDS cases in Indonesia remains high, while promotion programs targeting students remain low. Game-based learning has not been investigated as an alternative method for improving awareness among students. Aims: this study quantifies the impact flashcard-based educational game invented by YARSI Care on high school Jakarta. Method: A simple randomized controlled was conducted 112 SMA 27 Jakarta (intervention, n=56; control, n= 56). knowledge and attitude scores before after were evaluated using a validated questionnaire. An intervention is online. Univariate Bivariate analyses pre-and post-scores both groups performed.
