BACKGROUND Research supports that public safety personnel (PSP) are regularly exposed to potentially psychologically traumatic events and occupational stress, which can compromise their well-being. To help address PSP well-being mental health, peer support is increasingly being adopted (and developed) in organizations. Peer apps have been developed connect the supporter anonymously confidentially, but little known about effectiveness, utility, uptake. OBJECTIVE We designed this study evaluate functionality use of PeerConnect app, a vehicle for receiving administering support. The app connects peers also provides information (eg, health screening tools, newsfeed) users; thus, we wanted understand why or did not adopt app’s perceived utility. Our intention was determine if served purpose connectivity organizations implementing METHODS A sample (N=23) participated an interview they used app. first surveyed participants across Ontario, Canada, at end survey invited participate follow-up interview. Aim. To study the signs of post-traumatic stress disorder in combatants depending on duration their participation combat operations and to substantiate structure psychological rehabilitation. Materials methods. The research involved 127 (men) – participants russian war against Ukraine 2022−2024 with different experiences: up 12 months (Group 1, n = 61) more than 2, 66). All were representatives National Police Ukraine, belonged enlisted staff, undergoing inpatient treatment neuropsychiatric medical institutions Ukraine. Such methods as analysis generalization literary sources, psycho-diagnostic testing, questionnaires, statistical used research. Testing was carried out using Mississippi Scale for Combat-Related PTSD, questionnaire survey based author’s questionnaire. Results. It has been found that a longer stay zone have significantly (p ≤ 0.01) higher level PTSD manifestation by 12.5 points. also frequency symptoms experience is 0.005-0.001) higher. are most often detected include: sleep disturbance (92.4 %); attempts avoid thoughts conversations about traumatic event (89.4 intrusive memories (83.3 fear, helplessness, anxiety, irritation, anger (80.3 feeling alienation (74.2 disorders physiological sphere cognitive (66.7 decreased interest previously significant activities values (68.2 increased vigilance, sense excessive control (65.1 aggressiveness, proneness conflict (59.1 %). Public safety personnel (PSP) are at risk of experiencing operational stress injuries (OSIs). The functional impairments caused by OSIs can contribute to challenges with returning pre-injury requirements. A Canadian municipal policing agency developed a peer-led workplace reintegration program (RP) assist PSP in their after an illness or injury. Introduction: Public safety personnel (PSP) experience operational stress injuries (OSIs), which can put them at increased risk of experiencing mental health and functional challenges. Such challenges result in PSP needing to take time away from the workplace. An unsuccessful workplace reintegration process may contribute further personal for their families as well staffing shortages that adversely affect organizations. The Canadian Workplace Reintegration Program (RP) has seen a global scale spread recent years. However, there remains lack evidence-based literature on this topic RP specifically. current qualitative study was designed explore perspectives who had engaged due potentially psychologically injurious event or OSI. Methods: A thematic analysis analyzed interview data 26 completed RP. researchers identified five themes: (1) impact stigma service engagement; (2) importance short-term critical incident (STCI) program; (3) strengths RP; (4) barriers areas improvement (5) support outside Discussion: Preliminary results were favorable, but research is needed address effectiveness, efficacy, utility Conclusion: By addressing through innovation research, future initiatives iterations provide best possible communities.

Public safety personnel (PSP) such as firefighters, paramedics, and police are exposed to traumatic situations, which increase their risk for mental health issues. However, many PSP do not seek help in a timely manner. Peer support interventions have the potential decrease stigma treatment-seeking behaviours among PSP. little is known regarding how organizational culture of public organizations (PSOs) affects implementation peer-based intervention. This study aims understand extent culture, including masculinity contest cultures (MCC), within Canadian PSOs could affect PeerOnCall, new peer app A qualitative multiple case design was adopted, integrating semi-structured interviews with champions from five PSOs. One three each PSO acted key informants organizations. Interviews explored champions' perceptions might shape implementation. Interview data were analyzed using inductive thematic analysis. Aim: The aim is to investigate the peculiarities of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in armed conflict participants and substantiate directions their social psychological rehabilitation. Materials Methods: research involved 100 russian-Ukrainian war 2022-2024 (men aged 23 54). Research methods included bibliosemantic, medical sociological (interviews, questionnaires), statistical methods. Results: It has been found that majority (66%) have a high degree PTSD manifestation, main symptoms which are headache (96.9 %); sleep disturbance (69.7%); depression (74.2%); increased fatigue (62.1%); stomach cramps (59.1%); constant anxiety (68.2%); “paranoid” phenomena (45.5%); feeling fear (71.2%); lack self-confidence (65.2%); aggression (51.5%); substance abuse (30.3%); sense guilt (27.3%); signs hallucinatory experiences (24.2%); rage attacks (15.2%). soldiers (45 %) avoid any talk about traumatic events choose “avoidance” as defense mechanism. technology rehabilitation with manifestations substantiated, aim, tasks, stages, methods, principles, techniques. Peer involvement has been supporting people experiencing mental health and other psychosocial problems for over a hundred years. As the influence of peers increases in primary secondary care as well within organisations, there is need to evaluate effectiveness using deliver support range conditions.
