Background Increases in dependence among older adults cause increases care needs and social burden. Instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) are often used to assess the independence residing communities. Various factors affect IADL limitations, but few studies confirm gender differences limitations adults. This study explored changes incidence across 14 years identified associated with according Korea. Method uses secondary data analysis 2006–2020 from Korean Longitudinal Study Aging (KLoSA), a longitudinal cohort study. Among total 10,254 participants, 1,230 aged 65 over who met criteria were included final analysis. For each item, limitation was defined when response partial or complete dependence. Multivariate logistic regression performed identify (in 2006) 2020. Results The mean age participants at baseline 69.64 (SD 3.93), 61.0% female. Total scores for increased gradually all observed statistically significant. top three ranked items differed 2020: men preparing meals, laundry, using public transportation, women going out, handling money. Factors grip strength age, dementia, fear fall, women. gender. Conclusion 14-year period. In Korea, confirmed as well main limited activities. To minimize community-residing adults, it is necessary plan tailored interventions.

With increasing global life expectancy, cognitive interventions hold promise in mitigating decline and fostering healthy aging. Despite the demand for evidence-based interventions, there have been few attempts to summarize existing evidence. This study aims assess effectiveness feasibility of unimodal multimodal cognitively older adults. Systematic meta-review, selecting articles from four databases: PubMed, Web Science, Embase, Cochrane Library. Quality assessment carried out with AMSTAR2. Findings were summarized discussed narratively. Thirty-nine included, 21 meta-analyses 18 qualitative systematic reviews.
