The COVID-19 pandemic has exerted a profound impact on numerous facets of our daily lives, including in higher education. International students have encountered unique challenges due to their vulnerability stemming from living abroad, cultural adjustments, language barriers, and separation families friends. This review aims examine the educational, financial, sociocultural psychological impacts experienced by international context identify areas requiring support for this group. A systematic search eight databases yielded 78 relevant papers inclusion. Through qualitative synthesis, presents an increased understanding multifaceted students, encompassing five key themes: 1) unprecedented learning 2) stalled transnational mobility, 3) heightened social, challenges, 4) exacerbated racism racial discrimination, 5) mental health risks. By systematically synthesising distinctive faced pandemic, provides recommendations evidence-based post-pandemic era.

The aim of this scoping review was to examine what is known about the relationship between resilience and mental health undergraduate students enrolled in university or college programs, globally.Five electronic databases were searched, yielding a total 1,498 articles that screened independently by two researchers. Thirteen eligible for inclusion.The studies reviewed ranged from low moderate. Undergraduate also reported high, moderate, levels resilience. Further, positively correlated with well-being.Findings revealed poor. Given established students' resilience, evidence-based approaches aimed at strengthening such as providing opportunities social support, are warranted order improve health. Additional research rigorously assess representative student populations needed.

In this study, we tested the effect of a nostalgic storytelling virtual reality (VR) experience (vs. text-reading neutral VR as comparison condition) on state-level eudaimonic well-being and explored underlying mediating mechanisms. within-subject experimental design, all 31 participants experienced both versions in pseudorandomized counterbalanced order. Compared with experience, resulted significantly higher hedonic entertainment media gratifications (aka. enjoyment appreciation, respectively), social connectedness, well-being. The secondary impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to widespread psychological challenges, significantly strained international students' mental health. present work sought design and assess efficacy an Online Group Logotherapy Protocol, existential psychology approach developed by Viktor Frankl, reduce anxiety depression levels among Iranian students who were migrants/refugees in different European countries during pandemic. study recruited 70 (58 females 12 males, age range 20-35, 6 EU countries) experiencing moderate as measured Beck Anxiety (BAI) Depression (BDI) Inventories at pre-test. Half participants received a short-term closed group intervention comprising online sessions / 90 min logotherapy. control without specific treatment. designed logotherapy consisted 1. Fundamentals logotherapy, 2. Existential concerns, 3. Introspection, 4. Self-awareness growth, 5. Empowering facing 6. Meaning life conclusions. Five techniques used: Socratic Dialog, Modification Attitude, Paradoxical Intention, Dereflection, Logodrama. After sessions, post-test MANCOVA analysis showed more potent effect reducing than that elicited intervention. Eta coefficient suggests observed difference explains with strong power 89%. These findings unveil (1) benefits despite geographical distance (2) relevance effectively such complex scenarios where resources cultural competencies are limited.

Si pone l'accento sul processo costruzione dell'identità in contesto pandemico e modo cui la didattica a distan-za gli strumenti digitali sono stati utilizzati per sostenere l'apprendimento affrontare solitudine. Le testimonianze del cam-pione rivelano una generazione che, contrariamente agli stereotipi, riflette criticamente proprio uso tecnologie, sulle sfide della "mediatizza-zione distanza" sull'equilibrio tra interazioni fisiche.
