Abstract
This
article
describes
the
evolution
of
a
nursing
workflow
for
shift
start
safety
huddles,
longstanding
practice
in
nursing.
Utilizing
lessons
learned
about
virtual
meeting
space
environment,
this
hospital
retooled
huddle
to
be
used
as
fulcrum
communication
patient
and
staff
issues.
In
addition,
was
formatted
include
announcements
celebrations
an
effort
increase
fellowship
community
among
team
members
foster
relational
connection
between
leadership.
Feedback
results
measure
2
different
surveys
at
points
time
indicated
new
format
seen
useful
efficient.
A
small
change
yielded
large
results.

Background
Nations

COVID-19
pandemic
reduced
physical
activity

sedentary
behavior,

training
program
