The global COVID-19 pandemic has greatly dis­rupted education worldwide, including in Sub-Saharan Af­rica, which was caught off guard. Remote work become a viable option for maintaining social distancing, even after the pandemic. However, there is limited evidence on who should bear cost of internet access remote work. This paper focuses three research questions: how lecturers perceive work, costs hinder working, and be responsible covering access. Using phenomenological approach, study involved key informants sixteen lectur­ers from four public universities. Data collected through in-depth interviews analysed thematically. results revealed that university view as important professional growth. high deters working struggle to afford data bundles their responsibili­ties. Also, it found employers Internet because enhances efficiency job satisfaction. Uni­versities also revise policies provide financial support remotely, setting minimum per week all scholars remotely.

This study investigates the dual credit (DC) college readiness indicator among secondary students in Texas during 2019–2021 COVID-19. Utilizing publicly available administrative data from Education Agency and a hierarchical linear model, paper identifies changes school districts’ DC course completion rates across demographic geographic factors. Findings indicated steadiness participation an increase successful throughout years. Compared to White students, who are African American, Asian or low socioeconomic showed lower success. However, emergent bilingual learners Latine no significant difference. Using city as normed location, rural towns fared better than their suburban peers. As is primary implementation method for gifted-identified high schools, results demonstrate that despite remaining stable, disparities of color marginalized groups exist.
