A growing body of evidence suggests an increased prevalence anxiety and depression among teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there is little in research documenting extent university teacher population how these relate to feelings loneliness. This study aims explore symptoms teachers, identify differences, further examine relationships between loneliness depression. The participants included College Health Medical Sciences from four purposefully selected public universities who completed a survey questionnaire consisting items that measured depressive as well final sample 148 (45 [30.4%] located center or capital; 125 (83.1%) men; 90 [62.5%] taught both online face-to-face). teachers' mean age = 39.07 had SD 7.67. Objectives To assess the seroprevalence of infection-acquired SARS-CoV-2 and mental health school/daycare staff in months after reopening schools Montreal, Quebec (Canada) Fall 2020 whether these varied by school participant characteristics. Design A cross-sectional design based on a convenience sample schools/daycares was used as originally planned longitudinal no longer feasible due to obstacles recruitment, for example, teacher’s strike. Setting Forty-nine four Montreal neighbourhoods from March October 2021. Participants Three-hundred sixty-two participants completed both questionnaires serology tests. Primary secondary outcome measures prevalence anxiety, depression, resilience burnout/emotional exhaustion. Results The estimate made representative population educators 8.6% (95% CI 5.2 13.0). adjusted high 20% that elementary (aRR=0.20, 95% 0.07 0.58). Thirty per cent seropositive were exposed household member with confirmed COVID-19. Prevalence emotional exhaustion/burnout 35%, 44% 53% daycare, staff, respectively. However, moderate/severe anxiety depression low did not exceed 18%. The two main goals of this research were to assess workers’ mental health (anxiety, depression, and job burnout syndrome) examine factors related burdens in groups workers. study was conducted as an online cross-sectional study. target population consists workers essential activities who worked during the pandemic (health, defense, trade, finance, media), well a group particularly impacted by protection measures either under different regime or unable work (caterers, musicians). A questionnaire constructed for needs scales anxiety, syndrome used. In total, 42.2% non-essential 39.5% reported anxiety symptoms, circa 20% activity 28.9% 33.7% burnout. significant association has been found between certain sociodemographic characteristics respondents, financial stress (worry about losing job), social stress, media respondents’ trust competent authorities COVID-19 prevention measures, symptoms syndrome. findings pointed issues other highlighted need importance examining activities.
